Protests After Mehserle Sentencing Turn Violent

Police in Oakland arrested about 150 people on Friday for becoming violent--smashing windows and making threats--after they had quietly protested for several hours beforehand.

Though the protests were more calm than in July, some Oakland residents remain up in arms about the lack of justice for Oscar Grant, who was shot to death by police officer Johannes Mehserle.

Mehserle received a two year prison sentence on Friday.
