Hot on the heels of Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Weeks around the world, Beverly Hills has decided to host its first ever fashion festival along with some of Hollywood’s elite.

The day-long festivities kick off on 2pm on Saturday and will see exclusive runway shows from designers Elie Tahari, William Rast, Teresa Rosati and H. Lorenzo, exhibited by Ford models on the catwalk. The event is hosted by hair guru to the stars, Jonathan Antin (Bravo’s “Blow Out” and “Shear Genius”).

Beverly Hills has long been regarded as a designer’s paradise with its upmarket clientele, but it has only now decided to host its own fashion event. The idea behind the festival is to provide the consumers with a fashion insider perspective, so that they can experience the exciting world of fashion firsthand. While it can be argued that Beverly Hills doesn’t necessarily produce style, it just accommodates it, LA-based designers Michel Berandi, Odyn Vovk, Skingraft and Olima Atelier will also be given the spotlight in the finale runway show.

If you’re a budding fashionista with a desire to experience being up close to the runway action, tickets are still available for purchase and range from $25-$250 per seat per show, and proceeds go to charity.
