Sources inside the room where someone from Jerry Brown's camp called Meg Whitman a "whore" say that namecaller was Jerry Brown's wife, Anne Gust Brown, according to a story published by Fox News.

"The person who said that word is someone who can't be fired," said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Fox News, "... Jerry's wife can't be fired."
The comment occurred when Jerry Brown called a Los Angeles police union for support and inadvertantly left a voicemail after Brown thought the phone call had ended. On the voicemail someone can be heard calling Whitman a "whore."
The voicemail was first revealed to the public last Thursday.
