Okay, this isn't in Los Angeles exactly, but Joshua Tree's annual music festival showcases local and national artists. Think Coachella but smaller and more folkie. For the lineup, click here. With manageable desert temperatures in the upper-80s, this is the perfect weekend for a camping road trip with fellow music lovers. Saturday, Portland-based folk/blues group Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside plays, so be sure to check them out. Find ticket and camping info here.
