This week off the ice, Rick Rypien lost his cool.

Fighting is a beloved part of hockey. Fans go wild when the gloves come off and that is exactly what happened in the second period of the Minnesota Wild's defeat of the Vancouver Canucks, 6-2.

Rypien got into it with Minnesota’s Brad Staubitz, throwing a hard left hook that earned him a double minor for roughing and a 10-minute game misconduct.

On his way to the dressing room, Rypien decided to take out a little more of his anger on an unsuspecting Wilds fan. The fan got a hard shove from the Canucks forward, who apparently didn’t appreciate being taunted.

Rypien has been suspended indefinitely pending an NHL hearing.
