Lindsay Lohan is avoiding the slammer, AGAIN.  Lohan, 24, is trekking back to rehab after a California judge called her an addict and warned that she would face jail time if she was to relapse once more (never heard that before!).  Judge Fox is ordering Lohan to remain at the well-known rehabilitation facility, the Betty Ford Center, until January 3, 2011 and to report back to court on Feb. 25.  Lohan spoke with probation officials last week citing financial hardships if she were to have to remain in rehab for longer than a month. Upon hearing the judge’s decision, Lohan burst into tears.  (Source: Associated Press)

Mel Gibson has really hit rock bottom.  After being cast as a tattoo artist in The Hangover Part II, Gibson has been let go.  Gibson was dropped from the role after the studio received major backlash upon announcing the casting.  Because of Gibson’s reputation as an anti-Semite and racist, many (including Zach Galifianakis himself), were upset over the studio’s initial choice.  The lovely Liam Neeson will be taking Gibson’s place.  Hangover Star Bradley Cooper apparently played a part in getting Neeson the role of the “crazy” and “intense” tattoo artist. Prop 19 is smoking hot.  Actor Danny Glover and singer Melissa Etheridge stepped out Thursday to support the California proposition to legalize marijuana.  The celebs’ reasons why Prop 19 is the way to go included personal stories (Etheridge told tales of her experience with battling breast cancer) and tax incentives.  The comedian Hal Sparks also joined in the support of the controversial proposition: “What Prop. 19 does is move cannabis, marijuana, in particular, into the same category as alcohol: regulated, smartly controlled personal-use issue.”  (Source: ABC 7)

1968 Playboy playmate of the year, Victoria Rathgeb, 66, is being charged with attempted murder.  Los Angeles police say Rathgeb shot her husband of 20 years this weekend during a domestic dispute.  The playmate is due in court on Nov. 1 and she is up against charges that she intentionally shot her husband with a semiautomatic handgun.  She is now being held in lieu of $1.5-million bail.  Her husband, Bruce Rathgeb, is in grave condition.  (Source: LA Times)

Beyonce is not pregnant after all?  Despite major pregnancy rumors, Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles is denying the baby news.  She told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview Thursday that despite the rumors being false, she is excited about the idea: “With all the rumors, by now I should have five or six grandchildren.”  (Source: TMZ)
