According to the latest poll, Democrats Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer hold single digit leads over their Republican opponents. The poll, conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California, shows that Brown expanded his lead over Meg Whitman, while Carly Fiorina is closing in on Boxer in the U.S. Senate race.

The biggest battle remaining may be getting voters to the polls.
