Two of Jerry Brown's recent television ads have been outstanding because they focus on the truth, says the national political correspondent for Rolling Stone.

The ads don't even include the Democratic candidate for governor speaking, but rather feature clips of his Republican opponent Meg Whitman. A third ad, by Barbara Boxer and starring HP employees whom Carly Fiorina fired, also "works," Tim Dickinson wrote.

Most of Brown's $8 million or so in spending for the final week of the campaign is being used to run these ads.

You can watch all three ads here.
