Rhode Island Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Tells Obama To Shove It

Rhode Island Democratic gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio has told President Obama that he can "take his endorsement and really shove it" on radio station WPRO-AM after Obama announced that he would not be supporting any specific candidates in the race.

Caprio is hanging on to a narrow lead over his rival, Lincoln Chafee, who is running as an Independent but was formerly a Republican. 

Caprio is considered more conservative than his opponent, Chafee, which might be the cause behind the lack of endorsement.
