California voters oppose Proposition 19 by 49 percent to 44 percent, according to a poll released this week by the Public Policy Institute of California.

A month ago, a PPI poll found Prop 19 was actually favored by 52 percent of likely voters. Latinos and Southern Californians accounted for much of the increasing disfavor with the effort to legalize marijuana and defy the Obama administration.

Proposition 23, an effort to delay climate change laws, also appears set for defeat.

Prop. 24, which would overturn corporate tax breaks, is not polling favorably. Prop. 25, however, which would allow the Legislature to pass California's budget with a simple majority vote, is supported by nearly a majority of likely voters. The public's view on Prop 25 barely changed compared to the September poll.

I think that the legalization of pot, might be a bad thing. thay are allready out of control with the narcotic prescriptions. if you need something to help you get better, the health care boosts the price. but if your leg hurts, they give you 2 years of vicaden. i also think they are doing that to keep us sheepeople at bbbaaaaaaayyyy. so the legalisation of pot may be more smoke and mirrors, to pass our freedoms away. i have allways been for the legalisation of pot!!! but now i'm more worried about my freedom!!!!! By the way I found a website that give you prizes for your opinions and 4 play games here is the topic about legalize pot:

Prop 19 gives pot users first class treatment. If the pot users are not being treated according to Prop 19, they can sue. Prop 19 is a lawyer's paradise.

"No person shall be punished, fined, discriminated against, or be denied any right or privilege for lawfully engaging in any conduct permitted by this act or authorized pursuant to Section 11301. Provided, however, that the existing right of an employer to address consumption that actually impairs job performance by an employee shall not be affected."

"Notwithstanding Sections 11470 and 11479 of this code or any other provision of law, no state or local law enforcement agency or official shall attempt to, threaten to, or in fact seize or destroy any cannabis plant, cannabis seeds, or cannabis that is lawfully cultivated, processed, transported, possessed, possessed for sale, sold, or used in compliance with this act or any local government ordinance, law, or regulation adopted pursuant to this act."
