Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will hold a fundraising rally Saturday in Anaheim to raise money for Republican candidates.

But two of California’s most high-profile Republicans in the election, Senate candidate Carly Fiorina and

gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, will not attend, despite Palin’s endorsement of Fiorina.

“Sarah Palin is here for important reasons of her own, and meanwhile, I have 27 days left to talk to the people of California about the issues that matter in this race and so that’s what I’m going to go do,” Fiorina said.

The rally, to be be held at the Anaheim Marriott, is the first of two “Victory 2010” events across the country.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Republican National Committee.

General admission starts at $20.10, but $127.25 get attedndees a copy of Palin’s book “America by Heart” in addition a special seating section, and those who pay $950 get a ticket to the reception, two tickets to the rally and a photo with Palin.

A majority of California voters have an unfavorable view of the former vice-presidential candidate, with 33 percent reporting that they have a positive perception of her and 53 percent saying they have a negative perception, according to a poll released last week.

But among Republican voters in the state, Palin is much more popular, with 74 percent having a favorable opinion of her and 19 percent having an unfavorable view.

“I’m happy to accept the endorsement of many, many folks who have been supportive of my campaign—whether they are people like Sarah Palin or Democrats or Independents,” Fiorina said.
