Late-night runs to Jack in the Box, hours of binge drinking, bored snacking between meals — we're tired of it.

Starting today, we're resolving to change our eating habits, like we have so many times before.

But this time, we have a plan.

For 10 days, we ("Ellen" and "Kacie") will be struggling through the "Master Cleanse," better known as "The Lemonade Diet." It's supposed to clean out the toxins in your body and kickstart a healthier lifestyle. People who've gone through it say by the time it's over, they've lost their cravings for unhealthy foods.

The only thing going into your body comes from 6-10 servings of this weird lemonade mixture. The recipe:
2 ounces lemon juice
2 ounces maple syrup
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 cups of water

Each morning, you drink a "saltwater flush," which is a quart of water and two teaspoons of salt. (The creators of the MC recommend you stay near a bathroom for at least an hour afterward.)

And every night before bed, one to four cups of laxative tea.

This is going to be frustrating, embarrassing and probably painful. We've heard rumors of "fiery poops" and explosive vomiting. (It makes you wonder which is worse for you – Jack in the Box pastramis, or this?)

Stay tuned for frequent updates as we struggle through what will probably be a miserable and hilarious experience!
