Joe Biden Says Midterms More Important Than '08 Elections

Vice President Joe Biden said today that the midterm elections are more important than the historic election that brought him and President Barack Obama to power in 2008.

Should Democrats lose power in either the House or the Senate, the result would be the policy progress of the past two years grinding to a halt, according to Biden.  He was specifically referencing economic policy.  The economy, and recovery from the Great Recession, are top issues during the midterm elections.

Biden was speaking at a fundraising event for Representative Tom Bishop (D-NY) when he made the remarks.
