Women’s rights groups across California are advising women to vote against Carly Fiorina in the Nov. 2 elections out of concerns about her stance on reproductive health issues and other women’s health matters.

The anti-endorsement, which also urges women not to vote for Meg Whitman, comes just as two former Hewlett-Packard employees who were laid off while Fiorina was CEO spoke out against her at a news conference.

Barbara Boxer released a Spanish-language ad Tuesday called “Carly Fiorina: Contra Nosotros,” meaning, “Carly Fiorina: Against Us,” in response to an ad that aired last week in Spanish against Boxer, sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage.

The back and forth Spanish-language ads once again highlight the crucial role the Latino vote will play in this year’s elections.

Even though Boxer is ahead in the polls, some are pondering the possibility of a come-from-behind Republican victory.

Fiorina will visit the Fresno Deputy Sheriff’s Association Wednesday to receive an endorsement from the association’s political action committee.
