The key news for Tuesday is that voters prefer Republican candidates for Congress to Democratic candidates, 43 percent to 39 percent.
More Republicans than Democrats also said they were certain to vote on Nov. 2.
Perhaps, the only good news for the Democrats: 41 percent of voters said they had more trust in Democrats to handle the nation's major ills. Only 39 percent could say the same about Republicans while 15 percent had faith in neither of the parties.
