Tragically, there have been an overwhelming number of recent suicides because teens have been “bullied to death.”

Tyler Clementi of Rutgers University jumped off the George Washington Bridge after he found out that a roommate streamed a live video of his relations with another man.

Many celebrities are speaking out against bullying and sharing their own experiences of harassment in attempt to reach out to struggling teenagers.

"Gossip Girl’s" Michelle Trachtenberg was physically abused and thrown down stairs by mean girls. Jessica Simpson’s home was egged and toilet papered. Even Hollywood’s revered beauty, Jessica Alba, says, “I was bullied so badly my dad used to have to walk me into school so I didn’t get attacked.”

"Glee’s" Chris Colfer was a victim of bullying and supports the Trevor Project, “a confidential suicide hotline for gay and questioning youth.” In Colfer’s PSA for Trevor Project he says, “It may seem like there’s no chance of happiness left, but I promise you there is a world full of acceptance and love just waiting for you to find it.”

“Easy A” star Emma Stone has already snagged a new role in Sony’s new “Spider-Man” movie. Stone is set to play Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. The studio found the perfect chemistry between Garfield and Stone. For this role, Stone will also have to become a blonde, which is actually her natural hair color.  The untitled 3-D film is set to open July 3, 2012. Stone has quickly become a Sony favorite, and has been in the studio’s other films “Easy A”, “Superbad,” and” Zombieland.” (Source: Variety.com)

Despite his recent turmoil with the law, Bruno Mars is rising to the top. Mars is number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, and yesterday, he released his debut album, “Doo-Wops and Hooligans.” The Hawaii native is best known for his single, “Just the Way You Are,” and his collaborations with B.o.B. for “Nothin’ on You,” and Travie McCoy, “Billionaire.” The album was produced by Smeezington and the New York Times calls it, “an effortless, fantastically polyglot record that shows him to be a careful study across a rage of pop songcraft.” Look out for the songs “Grenade” and “Runaway Baby” on the album. In T.V. news, MTV and Ashton Kutcher have decided to revive “Punk’d,” the hilarious reality series that pranked celebrities. Teen superstar Justin Bieber will be a new addition to the series as the new host. The show will be produced by original host Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg. The show was taken off the air in 2007 after four years and 69 episodes. There has not been a premiere date set in stone, but the show will most likely premiere next year. (Source: Imdb.com
