Cleveland Radio Host Hires Witch Doctor To Curse LeBron

If Clevelanders aren't careful, they're going to lose the sympathy of the American public. Not that it matters (who wants to be felt sorry for anyway?) but it's going to happen soon if they keep doing this kind of crap.

What kind of crap am I talking about? Oh, nothing. Just a Cleveland radio host at WMMS-FM hiring a witch doctor to hex LeBron James in a ceremony broadcast over public air waves.

WMMS-FM broadcast the hex ceremony Tuesday morning, hours before the Heat's season opener in Boston.

The radio station says a witch doctor used bones, blood and a James jersey to cast a curse on the two-time MVP.

The host of "Rover's Morning Glory" says it's payback for the way James called it quits with the Cavs earlier this year.

Seriously, Rover? A witch doctor? What is this? 1920?

Maybe I'd understand if this happened in New Orleans. They have a history with that kind of thing at least. But a Cleveland radio station? That's ridiculous.

If I'm LeBron, I pretend to faint before the Heat-Celtics game tonight. I lie on the ground for two or three minutes, get the Cavalier faithful all lathered up. Then I spring to my feet, walk to the scorer's table, look straight into the camera and do the damn chalk toss bigger than I've ever done it before.

Yes, Cleveland fans have a right to be bitter. LeBron did them wrong. But at some point you just have to move forward and stop pulling childish stunts with grown men dressed like the villain from "Live and Let Die."

In fact, live and let die is the perfect motto for Cleveland fans right now. Heed that and stop the weird rituals.
