The ‘Choose to Fight On’ Fashion Show, held on October 21, was an energetic and inspiring evening benefitting the Noreen Fraser Foundation. Held at USC’s Galen Center, the event also included a silent auction, giveaways, and live music performances.

The show drew an intimate crowd of celebrities, students and others in the LA area. “90210”’s AnnaLynne McCord was in attendance, joined by her sister Angel, who modeled in the show.

Twilight stylist, Melis Kuris, hosted the show, creating a parade of fun and youthful fashion. Students modeled contemporary designers TT Collection, Stone Cold Fox, Levi’s Denim and Superdry. 

‘Fight On’ showcased live music by students who brought talent and energy. Premiere a cappella group SoCal VoCals and soulful Rozzi Crane delivered spectacular performances. DJ Miles also provided a seamless arrangement of music for the fashion show portion of the evening. 

The initiative of raising money and awareness for women’s cancers was never lost throughout the night. Noreen Fraser spoke about the Foundation’s most recent campaign, ‘Men for Women Now,’ which encourages men to support the women in their lives and encourage them to get cancer screenings early on. 

Student Kendall Fisher, 20, also spoke about her personal experiences and the impact of cancer in her own life, which was an emotional and moving addition to the evening. 

The master of ceremonies for the night, Evan Paley, who wore a Superdry lifeguard outfit as the show’s final ensemble, concluded by saying, “All men need to be lifeguards for their women, and make sure they get screened for cancer.”
