Brown V. Whitman: Today In The California Governor's Race, Oct. 5

California gubernatorial candidates canceled their appearance on today’s long-anticipated radio debate in San Francisco’s local radio station, KGO, with host Ronn Owens.
Political analysts say the move has allowed the two candidates to dodge tough questions concerning the controversial story surrounding Republican Meg Whitman’s undocumented house keeper. Representatives of the two candidates have said that the cancellation was mutual and that the meeting was never finalized. Political observers believe that the candidates withdrew because Ronn Owens is known as a tough individual.
The two gubernatorial candidates will be facing off on October 12 at Dominican College in San Rafael, which will broadcast on NBC stations. The moderator for the debate will be broadcaster Tom Brokaw.

Whitman and Brown campaigns are weighing the effects after last week’s revelation of Whitman hiring an undocumented immigrant housekeeper, Nicandra Diaz Santillan between 2000 and 2009. On Saturday’s debate, Whitman continued denying she ever knew about Santillan’s citizenship and continuously blaming Brown for the mess.
The ongoing debate is whether Santillan will drive the Latino vote away from Meg Whitman. The Latino vote makes up 18 percent, a crucial factor in who becomes California’s next governor.
New polling released Tuesday afternoon by Reuters/Ipsos says 88 percent of registered voters in the state have heard the allegations about Diaz. The catch--72 percent of them said the information did not affect their vote.
The bubbling news is that a decade ago Jerry Brown had a trip into Cuba and met with Fidel Castro.

"Whitman, Brown cancel KGO radio debate," as reported by the San Francisco Gate.
"Latinos not enthusiastic but likely to vote Democratic, survey says," as reported by the LA Times.

Raphael J. Sonenshein, a political science professor at Cal State Fullerton, told Neon Tommy via phone Tuesday morning:
“The California election is moving in the Democrats' direction. It happened because of the big edge over the controversy of Whitman hiring an undocumented worker. This has hurt Whitman a lot. Her best option is to create a diversion. If she can somehow turn the tables and show that the Brown campaign had searched for Santillan, it will help her a lot and raise the issue of who is really lying and it will create a whole other story. Whitman is stuck right now. More questions need to be raised and answered, but she is really stuck. The best angle is to make it about the Brown campaign.”

I think that both Whitman and Brown aren't prepared to be a governanor
As a moderate Conservative, a Tea Party member, Senior Citizen and not the religious right--just a Christian and a Independent voter, I want to see a government that is not swollen, a government that is not violating my privacy or eating up my limited resources to pay for illegal aliens. As with Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, State of California Barbara Boxer or any of the administration public servants Nancy Pelosi, Janet Napolitano, ICE chief Holder, on any who have a fervent interest in forcing through yet another Amnesty. Outside the border states, Chris Coon is another pro amnesty enabler, along with Russ Feingold and just about every Liberal, disguised as a Democrat. They by far are not the only Shadow Liberal-Democrats in the party who are determined to pursue another open border legislation, which rewards the stigma of illegal immigration. Both have substantial majorities of illegal households in both states and are prepared to pander to their organizations with the end result of potential hundreds of thousands of extra votes. Out of view at this time is the poor oversight of polling stations, and the reality that illegal people do vote, even though it’s under the penalty of perjury and with no real policing oversight. US citizens need to safeguard this right against any violation of this law and should be very suspicious in voting locations and returns of absentee ballots that is easily forged. States such as Arizona should be carefully scrutinized for suspicious voting and the federal government, should give urgent notice that violation of the voting law could mean prison and a heavy fine.
Special interest lobbyists would have us welcome millions more immigrants, even while the pendulum swings to overpopulation in our future. It’s a simple calculation that the more people we can cram into our cities, into America means copious profits for corporate and business enterprises. No matter that our infrastructural is in need of dire repair, that some of the underground sewer, gas pipelines are so corroded and are decades old. Isn't it time we begin looking after our own truly American poor, our own low income population. Not attracting foreign nationals from many countries that hate us, that don't want to learn the English language and have no intentions of assimilating in American society as did the new immigrants in the 20th century.
None of this seems to matter to the Leadership of the Liberal-Dems, periphery as they are still trying to shove another amnesty down our financially strapped throats. Senator Barbara Boxer has an anemic immigration record, not much different from hard-liner Sen. Reid. Both Nevada and California can be categorized as Sanctuary States Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer have deplorable immigration records as he have both voted--YES--to Federal funds for Sanctuary Cities, Comprehensive Immigration Reform (AMNESTY); Dream Act (another De Facto Amnesty); another Guest Worker program; (previous Guest Worker programs resulted in Amnesty); allowing illegal aliens to participate in our besieged Social Security, if legalized?; Voted--NO- on just English for government agencies. Translation and translators cost hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on 176 election language ballots and other judicial documents. Reid voted--NO--to making E-Verify mandatory as a business requirement to identify foreigners in the workplace; Voting--NO--to limiting welfare to illegal aliens that is another massive cost, estimated to be just the federal level of $113 billion dollars yearly. Nobody knows the true cost of public support for the instant citizenship of babies, brought intentionally to America for the reason of pre-natal treatment, low income housing which the illegal parent(s) can move to. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) voted devotedly the same to Senator Reid. Then the majority speaker Democrat Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) says that arresting and detaining--ALL--illegal immigrants was UN-American, as she is addressing to the same party issues as all Liberal-Democrat members. There voting records and other Democrats is costing taxpayers billions, including the $ 60.Billion in remittance money leaving this country, to other nations. Who else is involved in voting--NO—to discontinuing the illegal immigration assault in either political party?
The answers are found on NumbersUSA, OnThe Issues or Fair websites, estimating costs and other statistics for every US taxpayer to know. On NumbersUSA, OnTheIssues shows summary voting of Senators and Representatives against upholding immigration enforcement. Jobs and America's economy are top of the issues, but both are severely influenced by the illegal immigration? Unfettered illegal immigration is a prime problem for this country, unless we just we restrict more of the poor and welcome the highly skilled. Those with specific qualifications such as scientist, engineers should be welcomed. However, we should not be a public entitlement country, as an economic rescue for the destitute of anybody who can afford an airline ticket, or slip by the federal agents at the border. America has become the pressure valve for failing governments.
America cannot afford any Democrats or Republicans who think we can keep on giving amnesty, to just about anybody? This will eventually lead to overpopulation, water shortages, energy disruption and loss of environment. Even now water is in short supply in California and other border states. We are bringing in endlessly a cornucopia of profit for businesses that employ illegal nationals, without any obligation to paying for their health care, children's schooling and welfare. My family doesn't want to contribute tax money to illegal alien medical treatment education for their kids or any of the unaccountable dollars amounts to foreign subjects, including a charge card every month. While Americans are still writhing from the bank bailouts, with the financially institutions placing rigid restrictions on offering loans or mortgages, the Democrats are underhandedly enacting amnesty laws, instead of enforcing the 1986. We should also make a stunning example of ridding Pro-Amnesty Governors, Mayors, Judges and all levels of officialdom. You still have time to bombard your Senators or Congressman 202-224-3121 before November and warn both parties that you intend to vote-out any pro-amnesty lawmakers.
