Proudly touting her pro-choice credentials, Barbara Boxer attempted to showcase herself as the women's rights candidate in the all-female race for California's senate seat.

Still holding onto a slim lead, Boxer made a strong stand Thursday in separating herself from Republican challenger Carly Fiorina on the issue of abortion, which Fiorina opposes.

"Make no mistake about it, a woman's right to choose is on the ballot this November," Boxer said.

Check back later for full coverage of Boxer's speech.
