Now that fall has officially begun, it’s time to put away the gladiator sandals and break out the boots! The fall staple shoe has been spotted in numerous top designers’ collections for this season in a variety of styles, and we’ve rounded up the top trends to match any fashionista’s personal look.

Tall Suede
No matter what your price range or comfort needs, tall suede boots will have you looking and feeling fabulous this fall. An over-the-knee boot with a heel can be paired with a skinny jeans or leggings for a trendy look. Whether you splurge on this pair of Louboutins, or save with this pair by Bourne you’ll be sure to have the perfect pair of boots to complete any fall ensemble.

If you’d rather go with a comfortable flat, this Nine West pair with buckle details can add a masculine edge when worn with a flirty skirt.

For a more relaxed look, suede boots with a bit of a slouch are perfect to pair with any autumn outfit. These black Steve Maddens can take you from day to night, worn with a pair of jeans, or tights and a minidress.

Short Studded
Want to instantly edge up your look?  A pair of embellished ankle boots can make any outfit instantly fashionable. If you can’t quite afford these drool-worthy leather and gold-studded Alexander McQueens a la Lady Gaga, try these studded chocolate brown motorcycle boots from Forever 21.

Shoe-boots

Flats
Flat boots are an absolute must for fall. Comfortable, practical, and fashionable—what else could you want? Designers like Alexander McQueen jazz up the classic flat boot with staple embellishments, like the zipper and skull seen on this pair. Christian Louboutin adds a chain to the classic equestrian style flat to give it a fashionable twist.

If you love the style of equestrian boots but not the Louboutin price tag, this pair by Sanzia offers a more affordable way to instantly class up a pair of skinny jeans.

And of course, no discussion of fall boots is ever complete without mentioning Uggs.
