The race continues to be nasty in Nevada: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's latest ad calls Republican opponent Sharron Angle a “pathological” liar, and Angle is refusing to answer questions about policy issues.

In the past month, Angle has been climbing steadily in the polls, though the race remains extremely close. According to TPM’s poll tracker, Angle currently leads Reid, 49.7 percent to 46.4 percent.

Reid’s ad also shows Angle walking away from reporters, and says “she’s running from the truth.”

One local reporter has been trying to get Angle to answer questions throughout this campaign season, with little luck. Most recently, he was told, “I’ll answer those questions when I’m the Senator.”
