Activists March In Downtown L.A. To Protest Budget Cuts To Education

A diverse group of protesters gathered at the Los Angeles Unified School District headquarters Thursday afternoon to rally against recent budget cuts to eucation as part of the National Day of Action To Defend Public Education.

Many of the protesters were self-described socialists, who argued that funding to the war and to prisons should be cut, and more money given to education. Several laid off social workers also attended the event.
