The dynamic team of "NCIS" is back with a thrilling start to the eighth season.  Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) returns with his expert investigative team as they pick up from the turbulent end to the last season.

The episode begins with a bang as a fiery Paloma Reynosa (Jacqueline Obradors), on the path to avenge her father’s death, squares off with Special Agent Gibbs’ father in a tense shootout. With Special Agent Tim McGee (Sean Murray) heading the search for Paloma in Canada and Speical Agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) looking for answers in Florida, Gibbs and Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) work to keep Gibbs father safe and look into two new suspicious deaths potentially linked to Paloma.

Tensions continue to rise as Paloma’s brother Alejandro Rivera (Marco Sanchez), an official with the Mexican Department of Justice, pays a visit to the NCIS headquarters and leaves the team an ominous message.  With the report incriminating Gibbs on the murder of Paloma's father still withheld, Rivera leaves NCIS with threatening words.  With Paloma on the warpath, Gibbs must protect his team and his loved ones while simultaneously tracking down Paloma before she ends another life.

In a clever change of plot, Gibbs and the team confuse Rivera with false news of his sister’s death to put him away for good. More twists and turns are sure to dazzle viewers this season, as Gibbs and his team gear up for a search for a missing school girl next season.
