This weekly series finds the L.A. residents, businesses and organizations dedicated to living greener, cleaner and more sustainable lifestyles. These local movers and shakers show us that living a “greener” lifestyle may be the first step we need to take in order to solve our environmental woes.

Week Six

Don't have time to prepare your own meal? No problem.

Eat your way to a greener L.A. with these eco-friendly restaurants.

Pizza Fusion

Get your guilt-free pizza here in this Hollywood restaurant (there is another in Santa Monica). Pizza Fusion stays earth friendly through organic pizzas, salads, sandwiches, sodas, beer, wines and desserts.

Vegans and gluten-allergy sufferers are in luck, with gluten-free crust and brownie options.

Their focus on staying green even extends to their hybrid cars used for deliveries.

Check out what employee Matthew Hendrickson has to say about working at Pizza Fusion.

O! Burger

West Hollywood locals and eco-conscious customers line up to order from this restaurant's all-organic dining options.

Upon entering the restaurant, you can immediately tell O! Burger keeps an eye on sustainability. The small space features low-VOC paint, reclaimed woods and recyclable servingware.

Owner Andy Soboil says the most popular items are the beef burgers and fries. Watch the video to see how else O! Burger stays green.

Real Food Daily
Real Food Daily lives up to its name, priding itself as the "premiere organic vegan restaurant in Los Angeles," with two California locations in West Hollywood and Santa Monica.

The extensive menu offers a wide variety of options that are both vegan and kosher. You'll never run out of choices at this health spot.

The food is not the only reason why this place is considered earth-friendly.

"Everything we use for takeout is made out of compostabe plastic," manager Katie Buckley said. "All our paper products are made out of 100 percent recycled paper. We support local farms. Oh, and we only give water upon request because of the water shortage."

There are plenty of other eco-friendly restaurants in L.A. We would love to hear some of your favorites.
