Hollywood’s hottest young stars graced the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night to acknowledge fan favorites in the film, music and television worlds. Fashion on the blue carpet this year was also red hot, sizzling with fun and glamour. Mini dresses were a favorite of many of the young starlets there, encompassing everything from neutral nudes to vivid neons and sparkling sequins to embellished embroideries.

Choice comedy TV actress winner Selena Gomez was a breath of fresh air in a white BCBG Max Azria dress with silver sequined detailing on the back. She complimented her sophisticated ensemble with nude Sergio Rossi heels, which were the perfect finishing touch for her flowing frock. Fashion hall-of-famer (and Nicole's favorite of the night), Leighton Meester, had a similar thought in mind, wearing an Emilio Pucci ivory mini dress with beautiful crochet detailing and stunning silver embellished Christian Louboutin platform stilettos (the perfect Cinderella shoe).

Emma Roberts stood out in a vibrant chartreuse bandage dress from Brian Reyes, interestingly contrasted with burgundy ankle stiletto boots by Brian Atwood and a gold Jimmy Choo clutchto complete the look. Presenter Hilary Duff also opted for a bandage dress in mint green by Hervé Leger teamed with nude Louboutins, posing on the red carpet with her fiance, NHL player Mike Comrie.

Mini dresses continued to be the fashion pick of the night with “Twilight” star Ashley Green, who wore a strapless pink Valentino dress with beige and black accents, with Salvatore Ferragamopumps and Stephen Russell jewelry for that added sparkle . “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” funnygirl Kristen Bell also looked beautiful in a sheer coral embroidered Stella McCartney dress and elegantBrian Atwood nude sandals.

Stones and sequins were also key sartorial selections for Sunday’s award show blue carpet. “Pretty Little Liars” actress Lucy Hale arrived in a navy Paule Ka dress adorned with stones around the neckline and a gold buckled belt. Her choice of black spiked stiletto ankle boots by Ruthie Davis, was what transformed this cute outfit into an edgy fashion-forward one – embellished with Swarovski crystals, the boots going to be a coveted item next season. Kim Kardashian showcased her curves in a tight, ruched, one-shouldered Zuhair Murad black mini dress with an embellished shoulder. The petite reality star paired her sexy dress with black platform pumps by Casadei and a dark green snakeskin clutch by Kotur. Newly-married Megan Fox pulled of a balance of high fashion meets LA, coupling her flirty blue top with a sexy silver miniskirt, both by Isabel Marant. The sultry actress complimented her outfit with black Louboutin heels and a sparkling Ofira Schwartz ring. Although Megan's been attracting some backlash with her choice of outfit, hardcore fashionistas will approve of her riskier choice to team different textures together, and being Megan Fox, she looked stunning as always.

“Glee” starlet Lea Michele and “Vampire Diaries” actress Nina Dobrev glistened in sequined ensembles, each rocking their own take on the trend. Lea opted for a green and beige sparklingNaeem Khan mini, teamed with Christian Dior nude wedges (spot the hot shoe trend of the evening!), this time taking the spotlight for her fabulous fashion instead of her mind-blowing voice. Nina chose a softer look with an embellished Alex Perry dress and silver Brian Atwoodstilettos

The men of the night also proved to be fashion-forward fellows, parading a myriad of styles. “Fringe” actor Joshua Jackson dressed up in a navy suit, while “Gossip Girl” blue-eyed hottie Chace Crawford and “Big Bang Theory” funnyman Jim Parsons wore casual jackets and ties. “Glee’s” Matthew Morrison and TCA favorites, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner rebelled against sophisticated suits, choosing instead to dress down for the occasion with jeans and plaid shirts, and Zac Efron opted for a t-shirt and jeans, but they looked nonetheless stylish.

“Glee” leading men and TCA co-hosts Cory Monteith,  Mark Salling, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer were the epitome of panache and class in sleek shirts with sneakers to tone down the look. Cory opted for a dresser jacket, while Mark chose a black vest, Kevin wore a tie with his plaid shirt (Pattinson, take note) and Chris stayed as stylish as his on-screen alter-ego with a smart navy blazer The boys all looked perfect for the spotlight that came with co-hosting the event, and certainly impressed hostess Katy Perry, who rocked her own array of captivating outfits throughout the night.
