Is Pay-To-Stay An Option For Lindsay Lohan?
In fact, on Wednesday night she checked herself into the comfortable rehab facility Pickford Lofts, in hopes of gaining favor with Judge Marsha N. Revel (more on that later).
But two questions come to mind.
First, does Lohan even know that the possibility of serving jail time while watching reality television on a big screen TV and listening to her iPod exists? If not, someone tweet it, fast!
Second, in order to trade time in county jail for a pay-to-stay option, the judge presiding over the case must grant permission.
For Lindsay, this does not seem likely considering her relationship with Revel. Reading court transcripts and listening to the judge’s admonishments of Lindsay makes it clear that this Beverly Hills judge has no warm feelings for Lohan. It’s also hard to believe Revel will have any sympathy for someone who once called rehab a “vacation.”
So, while the option to spend her days sprawled on the couch talking on the phone, and her nights tucked into a bunk lined with mink blankets, are indeed a possibility, it seems as though Lindsay will most likely have to pull a Paris and swap her Chanel jackets for orange jumpsuits at Lynwood.
Whatever does happen, someone take pictures, please!
