Hunger in America is a huge problem affecting nearly 50 million people. But that number has been on the rise as a result of the poor economy and job market. With people out of work, they are struggling to put food on the table more than ever before.
That's where the Stamp Out Hunger food drive put on by the National Association of Letter Carriers and the Campbell Soup Company steps in. The largest one-day food drive in the nation produces more than 25,000 pounds of food in Burbank alone.
