LISTEN: To hear the horrors of The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.

WATCH SLIDESHOW:

Beyond the bright lights of Los Angeles, over the Hollywood hills, lies a large patch of woods
near Calabasas known as the King Gillette Ranch.

Legend has it the ranch was haunted by inmates from an asylum who escaped one night,
terrorizing guests of the grounds, which were often frequented by Los Angeles high society.

The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride has transformed this woodsy patch into a present-day thrill,
with a spooky tractor ride, carnival and maze, scaring thousands of onlookers.

The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride runs through October 31st.
