Game Recap: The Philadelphia Phillies' hot bats heated up the brisk Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and their pitching chilled the Los Angeles Dodgers en route to an 11-0 shellacking and a 2-1 lead in the NLCS.

Phillies starting pitcher Cliff Lee struck out 10 batters and only allowed three hits in eight innings.

Ryan Howard and Shane Victorino each knocked in three runs. Howard hustled for a triple in the first inning, scoring Victorino and Chase Utley. Howard has at least one RBI in all seven of the Phillies playoff games this year.

The Dodgers had nothing to fire back with. Starting pitcher Hiroki Kuroda didn't make it past the second inning, giving up six hits and six runs in 1 1/3 inning. Hitters struck out left and right, creating a disaster for the Dodgers, who couldn't even get a walk off of Lee.

''You never want to get your rear end kicked,'' Dodgers manager Joe Torre said. ''But you don't toss and turn and wonder if you made the right move. It's still only one game and we're in position to tie the series tomorrow.''

This win was the most lopsided postseason victory in history for the Phils.

Game Changer:

Dodgers Manager Joe Torre starting pitcher Hiroki Kuroda for the first time in 20 days, who made it all of 1 1/3 innings.

Key Moment:

Shane Victorino's three-run shot in the bottom of the eighth sealed the deal for the red-hot Phillies.

Quote of the Game:

"Cliff Lee, what can I say about him? He was absolutely outstanding."

-Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel

"You took steroids!"
