AUDIO SLIDESHOW: 6,000 USC football fans weathered the heat to watch the Trojans' preseason intrasquad scrimmage Saturday at the Coliseum. 

Freshman quarterback Matt Barkley (#7) got off to a rocky start, but threw a touchdown and ran for another, leading to the first/second team's 36-0 thrashing of the reserves.  The defense, led by senior Taylor Mays (#2), intercepted the "Black Shirts" quarterback Garrett Green three times during the shutout.
