Throngs of young fashionistas and clubgoers gathered at Hollywood nightspot Vanguard to take in the latest art, fashion and music Friday night at Project ETHOS' "Culture Shock: The Impact of Fashion. Music. Art."

Deemed by organizers an event for "millenials," the night celebrated young designers, artists and musicians looking to break into the industry.

The energy of the crowd was buoyant as the up-and-coming talent and fans mingled, checked out artwork and grooved to DJs Mando Fresko and Classixx while bartenders poured drinks from behind a packed bar set against the backdrop of Hollywood's lights.

Inside, models sporting socially conscious fashions strutted down the runway to electronic beats and whistles from the animated crowd. Aspiring supermodels--some wearing only iridescent body point--sported afros, mohawks, jewel-toned sequined skirts and over-sized leather handbags.

In total, eight designers, three bands, 10 artists, two DJs and 56 models took part in the night's event, in the hopes of presenting themselves to industry professionals and potential customers.

Project ETHOS has been producing this event for the past four years and many of the young talent have gone on to sign with major modeling agencies, music labels and clothing lines.

As the drinks flowed and music continued past midnight, the party showed no signs of slowing down. The budding artists, musicians and designers celebrated their success and the feeling of having made it in Hollywood--at least for one night.
